At Breathe Yoga and Pilates we offer a wide range of classes for all levels of expertise from total beginner to advanced. Yoga is suitable for all ages & physical ability and so can be practised by everyone, even those of us who are feeling unwell. If you can breathe then you can do yoga!

Yoga can be deeply relaxing and has been found to help its students reconnect with themselves. By learning relaxation techniques and practising breath work, students of yoga can use these tools in daily life to help deal with stress, depression and loss.

Yoga, meaning the union of body, breath and mind has been practised as a way of life for centuries. It’s philosophy is in cultivating physical, mental and emotional health & wellbeing, and is why more than 15 million people across the world are still practising this ancient tradition.

A daily practice of yoga can restore the natural balance and harmony bringing positive good health to all parts of life – physical, mental & spiritual. It can help to regain or maintain strength and suppleness of the muscles and joints. It can also improve the functions of all the body’s systems.

A typical yoga practice includes a combination of the following elements: Classical Asana posture practice (modified where necessary), breath work, meditation and relaxation.
